We have adopted different content strategies for each of the platform – each engages with a different stakeholder. Our twitter primarily engages with the Government of India stakeholders, Facebook is for the parents and teachers and Instagram is primarily for the students. Our Instagram community and engagement has seen a significant growth in the last one year.
IRIS National Fair project submissions are done entirely online. Considering it is a Government of India initiative, we had to take extra care to ensure that we build a secure and intuitive website for students to submit their innovations. We custom built this platform creating the algorithms and logic from scratch. The front end of the website is more playful and vibrant while the project submissions piece is clean and functional. The platform was also built for the judges to shortlist the projects, thereby reducing the physical time in the process.
We have created two after movies for IRIS National Fair. The first after movie is a fast-paced event capture which showcases the depth and breadth of the science fair. It captures all the fun moments and never fails to get the new students excited to participate in the fair. The second year, we went a little more thematic. Given the theme of the event itself, we created a film which was inspired from the life of Albert Einstein. We related his life and inspirational messages to the kids at IRIS, inspiring them to bring out the genius inside them.
